Daisy Daniels has discovered that one of her employees, Dianne, is embezzling funds from the company’s pension fund, but she makes the mistake of giving Dianne an opportunity to explain herself rather than going directly to the police. Of course, Dianne isn’t about to give up her plan of retiring early to a tropical island so easily. Instead, she binds an astonished Daisy to her chair and double gags her with a cloth cleave gag and an over the mouth gag. But Dianne isn’t done yet – in order to get rid of her nosy boss and give herself time to escape, she places a bomb on Daisy’s deck and starts the timer! Daisy struggles frantically. She knocks her rotary dial phone off the hook and tries to dial it with her stocking clad feet! Will she succeed in time? Or is her career about to end with a bang?
This is a classic damsel-in-distress story with fun retro elements and a classy dame in peril!
