Having Fun Sheltering in Place with Katherine West!

Yesterday we shot with our good friend Katherine West and had quite a lot fun finding some humor in the current world we live in. We shot 2 story line videos for the Imago Studios Members’ Club, both of which are satires of current events. In the first, Katherine West refuses to shelter in place. She even went downtown & to the park and posted photos on social media. But when the quarantine enforcement patrol from the United Health Organization shows up at her door, she is going to wish she had just stayed at home! In the second story, Katherine has been hoarding toilet paper and hand sanitizer, even though there are strict limits on how much you can buy. When her neighbor catches her, Katherine quickly ends up hogtied & gagged watching her excessive stash of essentials disappear!

We have said it many times before, but Katherine is just a blast to work with. She is a incredible actress with a great sense of humor and shooting these stories definitely made us all laugh during these strange times. We will try and get these up in the Members’ Club fairly quickly. We posted a few more funny pics on Twitter – go check those out!

  1. Hi Stryder – sorry you guys in NYC are having a real rough time. It’s headed that way here too but with the Strip shut down, we are hopeful that it doesn’t get too crazy here. Those masks – they are 99c painter’s masks we bought from Home Depot about 15 years ago when we tried to use a household paint sprayer (also where the paint suits, aka quarantine suits, came from), and they didn’t work well even for that so I doubt they would be effective against even a cold let alone Covid. Take care & stay safe!

  2. Clever storyline! You won’t be the first (or the last) to utilize the Coronavirus “down time” in their storylines. Have mixed feelings about the masks ya guys are using. I’m in Long Island, NY the epicenter of Coronavirus and leave the house when I have too – WITHOUT A MASK! Have no choice, they’re not to be found (and should be reserved for E.M.T.’s and medical personal anyway – in my opinion). It’s like the flu on steroids (or the “super-flu” from Stephen King’s “The Stand”, but lets hope it doesn’t come to that)! GREAT SAMPLES! Been a member of ImagoStudios.com in the past – I’ll purchase SOMETHING from ya again. Was laid off March 20th under NY Gov. Mario Cuomo “shelter-in-place” decree. Received my last check from my job in the mail today – REALLY want to go back to work, but it is, what it is (have to wait for Cuomo to lift the shelter in place – there’s rumors of stronger measures in the works, like martial law in N.Y.C. which hasn’t happened yet and hopefully never will)!
Stay safe everyone. Wash your hands (often). And stock up on liquid soap, bar soap (better choice), canned goods, Mac n’ cheese, boxed milk, and oh yeah TOILET PAPER (glad I brought in bulk before this all went down), wet wipes, Chlorex or any kind of bleach (also in short supply), etc.
Sorry to get up on a soapbox. Was a member in Windows98SE, WindowsXP (twice) and at least once on a WIndows7 system – purchased DVD’s and I THINK I still have an ImagoStudios production on VHS tape! My first unemployment check and federal COV19 relief check are already spent (car loan, car insurance, FOOD, living place I share with my wife – not necessarily in that order). 😉 God bless ya guys!

  3. Oh I agree about seeing Dianne in ropes again, if it gets to the point where it’s lockdown time.

  4. Katherine is amazing and this ia great way to maintain some normalcy in these wild times. The TP thing is real and makes me wonder what people were using before. We buy in bulk anyways so we don’t have to buy all the time. Luckily we got some randomly before this started.

  5. Katherine is just amazing. Glad you were able to shoot with her during this time. Hope you guys are staying safe. And I hope you will be able to work with your other models. If not, I don’t think we would mind seeing Dianne once more in ropes 😉

    Take care.

  6. Wow these story lines look awesome, I can’t wait to watch them when they get posted! Katherine looks fantastic as always.

These are strange times, I hope you all stay safe and healthy. Maybe you should have kept Katherine quarantined longer… 😉
