This will be obvious to anyone who has followed us even casually over the last 20 years, but we think it is worth stating clearly – Imago Studios is a bondage fetish site, not a porn or S/M site. Our work is almost entirely non-nude, does not include any fondling, vibrators, forced orgasms, masturbation, hot wax, nipple clamps, or S/M play, nor do we work with models who shoot porn or explicit adult material.
We realize this makes us a very rare entity among current bondage producers. Starting several years back, the distinction between a bondage site and a porn site got blurred – very blurred. Two decades ago, because of the real fear of being prosecuted on obscenity charges, most bondage producers avoided graphic sexual content. Bondage material simply did not include sexual activity. But times changed and fears of being arrested for for producing sexually explicit bondage material diminished (thankfully!). Then the flood of bondage with sexual activity came and it overwhelmed everything else, including good old fun & campy, non-sexual bondage sites. Now the majority of bondage material produced is heavy on full nudity, sexual activities and S/M – much of what is produced now consists of little more than someone tying a model up until she can’t take it anymore and then using a vibrator on her.
Since our beginning 20+ years ago, we have stayed true to our original vision of producing bondage material that is lighthearted, storyline-based, often campy, sometimes melodramatic, but always fun. We have never produced material that is overly sexual, degrading or violent – and we never will.
Ditto, ditto, ditto, etc. For all the aforementioned reasons, Imago Studios is a supremely imaginative, artistic site, and that’s why I keep returning — don’t change a thing!
Agree with other commentators! Appreciate time and trouble Imago put’s into it’s storyline bondage sets. Imago is one of the few “bondage” sites that I would share with a potential lover as it playful and fun (with a little bit of drama) without the sadomasochist tendencies other websites tend to fall into. Even though like Martin I too enjoy the occasional topless/semi-nude bondage like Nadia Lyudmilova, Katarina Wilski and other Imago models have done. Please keep up the good work! Although I do like topless content – Dina, Salem and Nadia are somne of my favorites – I agree that keeping up the non-sexualized melodramatic and light-hearted damsel-in-distress style is what makes the site so special, IS 96 for example, was a masterpiece. I hope you will continue your great worlk for quite some time!
Always been a fan of light-hearted bondage scenarios, and the work of Imago Studios has been one of the best things I found on the internet 15 years ago when I first started looking… A commitment to light-hearted scenarios and fun scenes that emphasise fun over sex. I’ve been very grateful for the work of Imago Studios over the intervening 15 years, and I hope they will be sticking with us for a lot longer. I really enjoyed the recent clip of Dianne and Cydel Jimenez where Dianne was an author on a book tour… yes there was a hint of exposure, but the plot and the fun tone of the whole clip was brilliant! Wish others would remember that sometimes the suggestion of naughtiness is far more effective than actually seeing it! Anyway… thanks to Imago Studios!
I agree with what others have said. You’ve always stayed true to your vision, and I’ve always enjoyed the work you’ve done. There’s no one else who does girl next door bondage as well as Imago.

This is the main reason I love Imago, it is near impossible to find good storyline bondage that doesn’t have nudity or sex. Even some of the other sites which used to do this well (at least part of the time) now are lucky to have individual scenes that are non-nude.
I love your storylines (especially the increased ‘peril’ videos including bombs, etc!) for me this is part of my love of bondage. Long may it continue, and I wish there were more producers out there that followed your lead. Thank you for all of your work!
Before finding Imago I was despairing after finding so many bondage sites ridden with clichéd,unimaginative scenes invariably including full nudity . Even now there is a dearth of bondage sites using good storylines/plots with convincing role playing.
One of my favourite aspects of Imago is the imaginative use of the wardrobe especially in the BW videos. E.g.BW 153 – Gold digging Step mum featuring Nadia and Dianne encapsulates everything I like about Imago. A wonderful plot, and quite intense scenes with a dash of humour. Both Dianne(captor) and Nadia (captive damsel) act out the scenes with gusto in wonderfully classy attire. (Nadia looked stunning in a white satin blouse and Dianne dons a wonderful pair of elegant shoes for aficionados of these aspects!).

Just one of the many reasons I have been with your site since almost the beginning. First purchase was IS-22 in March 1999. 20 year relationship in 2 more months, yikes ? I have noticed the trend with other producers and sometimes that is enjoyable, but for the most part it is not. So glad you have maintain the same standards the whole time. Thank you Ray & Dianne.
